Each cohort is a structured programme built around a distinct creative format. Students complete a publishable project by the end of the cohort. All programmes use AI as a disciplined creative collaborator, not a shortcut.
Portrait-format drama written, produced, and published for mobile-first audiences. AI assists at script development, shot sequencing, and edit rhythm. Students produce a three-episode pilot series meeting platform specifications for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Choice-based narrative design using Ren'Py with AI-assisted writing, character design, and branching architecture. Students produce a playable visual novel with three narrative branches, original character art, and a complete musical score direction document.
Animated text, motion graphics, and layered visual storytelling for digital-native reading. AI supports layout design, motion scripting, and narrative pacing. Students produce a complete kinetic novel chapter publishable on Webtoon or as a standalone digital format.
Design and build AI-driven characters with persistent personality, memory, and dialogue systems. Students develop a deployable interactive character with documented design logic, conversation architecture, and a provenance-stamped character bible.
Expanding 2026–2027
Coming SoonFive new cohort programmes in development, each with dedicated short course tracks. Institutions and partners can register interest now.
AI-scripted audio storytelling, voice generation, sound design, and distribution on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. Students produce a finished narrative podcast pilot ready for public release.
Brief-to-campaign AI workflow for agencies and marketing teams. Serialised brand narrative at scale. Students produce a complete campaign narrative package with AI-assisted content architecture.
Dialogue systems, quest design, and worldbuilding for games. Unity and Unreal narrative integration. Students deliver a complete narrative design document with playable dialogue prototype.
AI-assisted documentary storytelling. Research, script, and interactive format design for journalism and advocacy. Students produce a documentary pilot with interactive editorial layer.
AI image generation for panel-based visual storytelling. Publish on Webtoon, Tapas, and GlobalComix. Students produce three complete episodes of an original series with full visual and narrative consistency.
Curriculum architecture
Every StoryOS cohort shares a common module architecture. The framework moves from foundational AI literacy through production practice to publication, IP governance, and final presentation. Sequencing logic and build order are held as protected curriculum IP.
| Module | Title & Focus | Phase |
|---|---|---|
| M 01 | AI Literacy for Story-Makers Foundations of human-AI collaboration in creative practice. How large language models, image models, and audio models work, and where human authorship begins and ends. | Foundation |
| M 02 | Format & Platform Intelligence Understanding the technical and cultural constraints of the target format. Platform specifications, audience expectations, and the design decisions that distinguish each cohort's output medium. | Foundation |
| M 03 | AI-Assisted Development Using AI as a collaborative development tool: story structuring, character development, dialogue generation, and iterative drafting. Human creative direction at every stage. | Practice |
| M 04 | Production Workshop Format-specific production skills applied to the cohort project. Covers the technical and creative production workflows relevant to each cohort's output medium. | Production |
| M 05 | Provenance, IP & Authenticity C2PA content provenance standards, timestamping, and attribution workflows. IP ownership in AI-assisted creative work. Authenticity Lens framework applied to student projects. | Governance |

Short courses
Short courses are available as standalone offerings for institutions that want to introduce specific skills without running a full cohort programme. All short courses can be delivered online or adapted for in-person workshop format.
StoryOS issues Open Badges (via Badgr) for cohort completion and module achievements. Badges are verifiable, shareable, and provenance-stamped. Each active cohort carries its own completion badge; module badges are awarded across all cohorts.
